Other Sites
EA’s web sites have links to other non-EA web sites. When you follow a link to another site, you are subject to the privacy and legal policies of those sites. EA has no authority over, liability for, nor does it endorse, these sites. You are encouraged to review the privacy policies and terms of service of those sites before using them.
Children
EA is especially concerned about protecting children’s privacy. We urge parents and teachers to be involved in children’s Internet explorations. It is particularly important for parents to guide their children when children are asked to provide personal information on line. In some of sections of our web sites we ask children to provide their email address so that we can respond personally to them. Providing this information is entirely optional. We always suggest that children get their parents’ or guardians’ permission before providing any information on line — at our site or any other site — and hope parents and guardians will always be involved in those decisions. Most importantly, when children do provide information through this web site, it is only used to enable us to respond to the writer, and not to create profiles of children. The information is all subject to the Privacy Act. Parents can request for any personal information to be removed by writing admin@elkinsapartments.com.
Intrusion Detection
For site security purposes and to ensure that this service remains available to all users, we employ software programs to monitor traffic to identify unauthorized attempts to upload or change information, or otherwise cause damage. In the event of authorized law enforcement investigations, and pursuant to any required legal process, information from these sources may be used to help identify an individual. It is protected by various provisions of Title 18, U.S. Code. Violations of Title 18 are subject to criminal prosecution in federal court.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
EA reserves the right to change this policy and our terms of service at any time. We will notify you of significant changes to our Privacy Policy by posting the changes to this page and noting a change in updated date (as indicated at the bottom of this document). Significant changes will go into effect 30 days after notice. Non-significant changes will take effect immediately.
