Moving out? Part Deux: What to do with all your stuff you’ve been gathering in your Elkins Apartments rental house or apartment (and don’t want to take)?

But first a quick checklist, be sure to:
- Tell us when you are leaving, or if you already have!
- Set up your move out inspection
- Pay off your balance in your tenant portal
- Clean up and clear out. Be sure to remove all debris/food (just say no to Yuck!)
- Keep your utilities, A/C, and fridge on
- Leave or drop off your keys
- Lock doors & windows
So, what about that stuff? Sell, donate, dump, or store it!

The City will sometimes pick up large items with trash stickers after you’ve visited the businesses above. These large items will be picked up at the curb on your regularly scheduled trash pick-up day. Note: Items should be curbside by 5 a.m. You can schedule an appliance pick-up with the Sanitation Department at 812-349-3443.
MOVE IT:
Whether you’re moving to your next B-Town home or you’re homebound as a new grad (congrats!), these moving services will take a load – or two – off your hands:
